What We Do

Future Laboratories (Future Labs) is a California-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to scaling solutions for social good. We work with school districts, STEM education programs, municipalities, private companies, and DoD partners to bring technological solutions to where they are needed most.

Who We Are

Future Labs is a team of individuals dedicated to innovation, research, education, and the commercialization of new and emerging technologies through collaborative partnerships with Industry, Academia, Military, Nonprofits, and the Government. We value our projects based on their potential impact to change the world.

Why We Do It

The idea of Future Labs came in 2019 when our founders, Bryan and Erick Went (founders of Matter Labs), sat down and talked about the focus of their next project. They decided that too many problems are awaiting technological solutions that are not advanced due to a lack of profit. Future Labs is a non-profit organization designed to tackle these projects and scale technological solutions to address the most pressing issues of our day, using impact as our motivation to do good.

SCALING SOLUTIONS

At Future Labs our projects are centered around city, state, national, and world issues that have the potential to be solved through technological innovation.

ADAPTING
TO MODERN EDUCATION

Through hardwork and connection Matter Labs, Fathomwerx, and Future Labs have grown into a technological test and build site that has pioneered innovation for first responders throughout the state of California, developed technology for UAV and small scale drones, and even helped develop the personal jetpack. These partners have come together not only to innovate, but educate through competition, STEM education, and giving back to the community in need.

CHANGING THE CLASSROOM

In order to ensure the success of our projects, we must think about the ability of future generations to continue our work. Future Labs collaborates with partner organizations such as FIRST Robotics to host STEM events for students. By incorporating field expertise with hands-on capabilities that can be done in person or remotely, we are expanding our reach to the true innovators: the future generation who sees the problem of the present and wants to create a sustainable future.
